Flaxseed oil is a great product due to its optimal balance of Omega-3, Omega-6, and Omega-9 fatty acids, which are in a ratio of 4:1:1. This oil is also a good source of phytoestrogens called plant lignans. These substances can effectively mimic or replace human hormones while also inhibiting their excessive activity in the body. Additionally, plant lignans are effective antioxidants.
