Lemon oil is obtained from the peel of a lemon. Lemon oil strengthens the immune system and has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antiviral properties. It helps to treat upper respiratory infections, flu, colds and bronchitis. In addition, it improves mood, works as antidepressant, relieves migraine headaches, reduces fatigue and increases the ability to concentrate. Lemon oil is also used to treat greasy and oily skin.
Due to its properties Lemon oil is part of the composition of essential oils used in the treatment of Lyme disease.
How to use:
Massage: 10ml (tablespoon) of base oil mixed with 2-3 drops of lemon oil
Baths: 10-15 drops of lemon oil on a 3/4 of a bathtub filled with warm water
Flavoring: 5-10 drops of lemon oil mixed with 2 teaspoons of water
Method for preparation of essential oils mixture used in the treatment of Lyme disease:
Contraindications: individual intolerance, pregnancy. Do not use before sun tanning.
