Serrapeptase
Serrapeptase is a proteolytic enzyme (decomposing protein) derived from the silkworm's alimentary system. This enzyme fights fibrin shielding Borrelia bacteria and helps break down microbial biofilm. Spreading fibrin that protects the bacteria makes the cells of the immune system effective in attacking and eradicating the pathological microflora. In addition, Serrapeptase decomposes fibrin adhering to the capillary walls and the same improves the transport of oxygen to the tissues. Thus, in those tissues where prevalence of anaerobic conditions prevails, beneficial for the development of bacteria, the environment is changed to oxygen, which is bad for bacteria. Serrapeptase is harmless to living cells or tissues in the human body. Serrapeptase is included in Cowden Support Program and should be used in conjunction with other products from Cowden’s Protocol.
