Selenium

Selenium strengthens the functioning of the immune system. Adding selenium to the appropriate level increases the production of antibodies, macrophages and lymphocytes, which defend the body against pathogens. Selenium also protects the organism against free radicals and has anti-inflammatory properties. It helps removing harmful heavy metals from the body and participates in the production of prostaglandins, which prevents inflammation, especially rheumatoid autoimmunity. In addition, Selenium supports the circulatory system.
