Due to this property the herb is used for reducing the strength of Herxheimer reaction. Sarsaparilla also increases the bioavailability of other herbs and drugs and acts as an antioxidant. Additionally, the herb has antirheumatic and analgesic properties and reduces the state of fatigue.
